In addition
to this we work with an increasing number of local sports teams and
athletes in the region, already improving the conditioning levels of
those who choose to train with our guidance. The unique methods we
utilise that distinguish us from any other elite coaching is that we DO
NOT TRAIN MUSCLES, WE TRAIN MOVEMENTS, making our coaching invaluable to
those with whom we work.
Our pitch
based attack training
coaching programme would be a highly effective addition to your
conditioning schedule. We specialise in maximising neuromuscular
training effect via well-drilled movement coaching, breaking down
fundamental rugby specific movement patterns and delivering highly
motivating sessions. The aim of the programme is to target:
-
First step quickness
-
Lightning fast 5yard capacity
-
Acceleration
-
Line Speed
-
Angles of running in attack & defence
-
Side-Step Mechanics underpin lateral movement
-
Direction Change via Side-Step, Double Side-Step, Cuts, Swerves and
Arcs
-
Collision Avoidance & Tackle Breaking Footwork
-
Skills-Sets incorporating some/all of the above factors
Attack training
can be booked as a one-off session or arranged as a series of sessions. We
are prolific in coach education programmes in a range of multi-directional
sports and specialists in rugby, we coach the coaches.
The
athlete performance centre
offers your coaching staff and squad the opportunity to address strength &
conditioning coaching in a world-class environment. It can be used for
squad sessions by prior arrangement or at its most fundamental level,
provide individual players with a purpose orientated environment to
perform their strength & conditioning instead of ‘making do’ at a standard
commercial gym.
